Sofia Diaz-Rodriguez joined the firm as an intern in the summer of 2025. She graduated from Harvard College in 2024 with a degree in Neuroscience and is a proud first‑generation college student. While at Harvard, she served as a Universal Design Coordinator, collaborating with faculty to develop accessible research laboratories across the College and graduate schools. Her contributions earned her the 2022 Massachusetts Student Employee of the Year Award and the Harvard Undergraduate Student Employee of the Year Award.
Sofia’s work in scientific accessibility, together with her experience teaching and mentoring international students, strengthened her commitment to equity and cross‑cultural communication. She is a native Spanish and English speaker with working‑level proficiency in Portuguese and enjoys supporting international and Latin American clients. After graduating, she realized she wanted to apply her Neuroscience training within the legal field to bring scientific insight to systems that evaluate behavior. Her passion for defense work began in high school through the Miami‑Dade Teen Court program, where she now volunteers as a Youth Attorney Trainer. She will begin law school in Fall 2026.
At the firm, Sofia assists in defending complex white‑collar civil and criminal matters. She conducts legal research, analyzes case law, and helps prepare clients for depositions and trial. She also supports the team in managing document productions for subpoenas and regulatory inquiries and contributes to drafting motions, complaints, and other court filings, as well as submissions to agencies such as the DOJ and SEC.
