Roberto Potter is an international law clerk from São Paulo, Brazil, working as an international trainee for Fridman Fels & Soto, PLLC in 2026. Before joining the firm, Roberto was a senior associate at Caminati Bueno Advogados, a leading Brazilian antitrust law boutique. Roberto is supporting the firm’s U.S. and cross-border litigation and arbitration matters, assisting with legal research, drafting internal memoranda, reviewing documentary and testimonial evidence, and supporting discovery strategies, including matters involving international evidence-gathering.

Roberto previously worked for many leading Brazilian law firms on high-profile antitrust investigations, complex merger filings, and cross-border transactions. His background includes advising clients across sectors such as technology, healthcare, energy, and private equity. He also completed a law clerk externship at the Antitrust Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General.

Roberto earned a Bachelor of Laws (J.D.) degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a postgraduate specialization in Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). He also holds an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center. He is admitted to practice law in Brazil and is currently in the process of admission to the New York State Bar.
